
SCANPS

This directory contains the distribution of SCANPS, a program for
fast and sensitive protein sequence database searching.

Try SCANPS web servers either at the EBI (http://www.ebi.ac.uk) or at Dundee
(http://www.compbio.dundee.ac.uk).

SCANPS was written by Geoff Barton, with significant contributions by
Caleb Webber (local alignment statistics) and Steve Searle (MMX/SSE 
parallel code).
